Check us before you order
Pellet fraud is common, so we make ourselves easy to verify. Three public registers confirm who we are and whose pellets we sell.
The company
Nord Bio Energy is registered in Denmark. The Danish business register shows the registration date, the address and the owner, Yaroslav Koziuk. Look it up at datacvr.virk.dk.
The VAT number
Our EU VAT number is DK43174428. You can confirm it is active in the European Commission's VIES database before you accept an invoice from us. Check it on VIES.
The certificates
We are a trader. The ENplus A1 certificates belong to the factories: UA 037 (Zunami), UA 056 (Tayfun), UA 011 (Verba), UA 030 (DPP Resource), UA 009 (Rezult). Verify each ID on enplus-pellets.eu.

Full trucks by road. Denmark is our home market, and we quote any EU delivery address.

How a first order works
A first order is paid in advance. Before any money moves, you can see and check everything below.
Samples
Bags or briquettes by courier at our cost. Burn them, weigh them, send them to a lab if you like.
A call with Yaroslav
Video or phone. You talk to the owner, not a sales desk, and can ask for the producer contracts.
Order confirmation
Specification, price, Incoterms and delivery window in writing. Invoice from NB Energy, paid to a Danish bank account in the company's name.
Loading and transit
Loading at the factory, export clearance, EU import clearance. 5 to 7 days to Denmark, 7 to 12 elsewhere in the EU.
Check at unloading
Count pallets, check seals and bag serials against the CMR and packing list. Any shortfall or damage is our claim to handle, not yours.
Where the goods come from
Western Ukraine
The factories we buy from are in the Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr and Zakarpattia regions in the west of the country. We have loaded trucks there without interruption since 2022. Under the EU Deforestation Regulation, Ukraine is classified as a low-risk country, which means simplified due diligence for EU importers.
Many factories per product
15 pellet plants, 10 RUF briquette plants, 6 for Pini Kay, 3 for Nestro and 9 firewood producers. If one plant runs low on stock, the order moves to another with the same specification and the same delivery date.
Our risk, not yours
Your contract is with a Danish company under Danish law. If a truck is late or a batch is off specification, you deal with us, in Denmark, in your time zone.
